Monoprinting workshop with Annabel Hill

Wandering along the country lanes around the pottery, we will look at the hedgerow flora. Photographing, drawing and gathering stems, flowers, leaves we will take back our inspiration to the studio.

Back there, learn to make your own handcut botanical, insect or bird stencils. Templates will also be provided for those unsure of drawing.

With our stencils we can then layer up our plates with our foraged flora to pull through the printing press.

Subsequent prints will become more dynamic, interesting with 'ghost' images.

Come away with up to 4 prints, learn a new technique and how to use the printing press!

This class has 6 places @ £35per person, 2-5pm Sunday 7th August
