‘Clay, Fire & Feast’ - Saturday 26th Sept 10-5pm, these 2 workshops begin at 10am-1pm at Cooksimplycook in Bude, then moves onto Welcombe Pottery 2-5pm. This special collaboration invites you to slow down and enjoy getting creative with food & clay. The price of £130 includes both workshops at £65 each.
Saturday 26th Sept 10am-1pm, including lunch - at the @cooksimplycook school in Bude for recipe inspiration, ideas & cooking up a feast, designed for your sharing platter .
At then 2-5pm at the pottery - join us in a class where creativity meets nature. In this workshop, you will slab build a wide, welcoming sharing platter and a smaller dips bowl from soft clay, then bring it to life by printing fresh herbs, flowers and words into the surface. Clay is perfect for impressing dates, names and quotes into, to create your own personlised feasting dish. We have plenty of lettering and wooden stamps to decorate the surface with.
Please note this is a handbuilding class, suitable for beginners and intermediate students. Alice will then fire and glaze your stoneware, oven proof, dishwasher safe pottery, ready to collected ( or can be posted for a small fee) and filled with culinary delights inspired by your morning class with cooksimplycook.
