‘Clay, Fire & Feast’ - Saturday 28 February at Welcombe Pottery & Saturday 28 March at Cooksimplycook in Bude 2026. This rather unique and special collaboration invites you to slow down and enjoy getting creative. The price of £130 includes both workshops at £65 each.
February - make your own Sharing Platter at Welcombe Pottery, learn the process from clay to form. March - once your pieces have been fired, join Cooksimplycook in Bude for guidance on styling and recipe inspiration.
At the pottery - join us in a class where creativity meets nature. In this workshop, you will slab build a wide, welcoming sharing platter and a smaller dips bowl from soft clay, then bring it to life by printing fresh herbs, flowers and words into the surface. Clay is perfect for impressing dates, names and quotes into, to create your own personlised feasting dish. We have plenty of lettering and wooden stamps to decorate the surface with.
Please note this is a handbuilding class, suitable for beginners and intermediate students. Alice will then fire and glaze your stoneware pottery, ready to be filled with culinary delights at your March class with cooksimplycook
