Suitable for complete beginners or people with some clay skills.
      At this two and a half hour class your creative confidence will bloom. You will learn how to handbuild a decorative & botanical slab mug or coffee cup and a plate to match.  We will be decorating your slabs of clay by printing onto them with plants, flowers and wooden stamps & lace, (or bring your own plants from your garden to create your own seasonal record). Its a great way to celebrate anniversarys/christenings/weddings- we can add names and dates to make family heirlooms too.  Your pieces will then be fired and glazed, and ready to collect 3-4 weeks later, or they can be posted for a small fee. Theres a range of glazes to select from. This class is suitable for children agd 12 years and above as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We provide everything you need as well as plenty of tea and cake to keep the creativity flowing. This is a handbuilding class making your own mug & plate without the use of a pottery wheel.  You will also recieve a 20% dicount on any purchases you make in our shop in Welcombe on that day.
