Pottery taster sessions

Beginners Taster session This is a 2 and a half hour workshop, suitable for beginners.

Half the workshop will be throwing on the wheel, the other half will be

 making a decoratively textured slab mug, jug, vase or lantern.

Clay is ideal for printing into, we will use plants, lace and wooden tools/stamps to create your own tactile slab built mug. You can also bring in anything you think might be suitable for adding more textures. There will be plenty of tea and cake to keep your creativity going. Price includes firing and glazing your pots, to be collected (or posted) at a later date.  You will also recieve a 10% discount on any purchases at our shop in Welcombe on the day of your taster session.

Level 2 taster session Sat 15th Feb or sat 15th March 2-5pm, this class is the same format as the beginners, but you will be learning more throwing techniques and be working on a bigger hand building project, either a decorative tall jug or elegant slab vase. £65pp Book here
